The Steed Corral: Questions...
http://blsteed.blogspot.com/2012/10/questions.html
Friday, October 19, 2012. Today I heard this song on country radio called "Beer With Jesus." Okay, it sounds sacrilegious, I know, but hear me out. I have no problem with having a drink. (Getting drunk, however, that's another topic.) Here's the lyrics and you can decide for yourself:. If I could have a beer with Jesus. Heaven knows I’d sip it nice and slow. I’d try to pick a place that ain’t too crowded. Or gladly go wherever he wants to go. You can bet I’d order up a couple tall ones. What’s on t...

http://blsteed.blogspot.com/2012/09/these-are-days.html
Sunday, September 30, 2012. These are the Days. Recently, one of my favorite songs is number 6 on my Sugarland CD, "These are the Days." It reminds me that even when things seem overwhelming, even when life is so daily. Someday I will look back and remember these days. These are the days before kids, days in a. Someday I will look back at these days and smile wistfully. Though I truly hope and pray I will enjoy and even embrace wherever I happen to be at that moment, I know I will look back at these ...

The Steed Corral: September 2011

Monday, September 5, 2011. Where did the summer go? Well, a little update on our summer.wow where to start? This year, we felt that Camp ran more smoothly than it ever has, and were so blessed to be a part of serving the Lord in the capacity He has given to us. We plan on continuing to serve in this way until God makes it clear we are no longer needed there. We both hope that's a long way off, but who knows? A typical Camp picture, me behind the camera, Bryan directing a game. :). Top picture is at NBC o...

The Steed Corral: December 2010
http://blsteed.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 19, 2010. I am struck this holiday season with the fact that God had a plan for His people from the dawn of creation. So much in my life I have taken for granted. So much have I simply accepted. Coming to a new light this year has been God’s divine. Direction of His people. To Moses—the Israelite deliverer; was he God’s chosen? Then David—man after God’s own heart; was he the One promised? Appeared to shepherds shouting: “Glory to God in the highest! 8221; What a PLAN! Yet this wasn̵...

The Steed Corral: March 2010
http://blsteed.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 13, 2010. Laundry. UGH. I hate it and I don't even have kids yet! Welcome to the Saturday chore list: vaccuum, dust, sweep, bathrooms, dishes,. I think I'd rather clean bathrooms than do laundry. Especially the folding part. Ah well. I will choose to be thankful.I have a washer and dryer in my apartment! Lots of people don't. Also, I have lots of clothes to wash. Therefore, I have lots of clothes. What a blessing! I ran past, albeit, slowly, and rubber-necked my way down the street. T...

Sunday, December 22, 2013. My Season of Advent. My mind has been swimming with this blog post for months. Yes, literally months. Almost 7 months to be exact. I've wanted to share this story and what has been on my heart, but I haven't been sure how. I'm still not sure, but I'm going to take a stab at it because my heart is so full and writing is one way that I process all that is locked inside. An arrival or coming, especially one which is awaited. ( definition from dictionary.com). It still felt like I ...
