Thornton Moth Man: December 2009
http://thorntonmothman.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 22 December 2009. I know I said no more until after Xmas but I was very pleased to see a group of 13 Goosander (7 male and 6 female) on the river near work yesterday on Thurcaston Road. Presumably Watermead is partially frozen to force them down here? Still 3 males and 3 females this morning together with a pair of Shoveler, which is a patch tick. Friday, 18 December 2009. No further updates between now and the festive season so I hope everybody has a fabulous Xmas and all the best for 2010.
