Something from Sarah: January 2014
http://somethingforsarah.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 29, 2014. So long for now. Well today is the day. I fly back to Europe tonight. This trip is a bit shorter.just three months. On a related note, I hope we can even make it to the airport. Atlanta interstates are gridlocked. My flight leaves at 9:30 tonight but we're planning to leave my house a little after lunch. Would I be sad if I missed my flight? Nope Buttttt I don't want to deal with the hassle of finding another. So let's just pray we make it to the airport safe and on time!

Something from Sarah: March 2014
http://somethingforsarah.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 28, 2014. While I was in Germany, I learned a lot about Bavaria. My most favorite thing was Ludwig II. Such an interesting guy! Here's the link to his wikipedia page. If you want to read a bit. One of my favorite things about him is that he loved building castles. He actually built the castle that became the model for Sleeping Beauty's castle. I mean how cool is that? While I was there, we visited Herrenchiemsee, which was modeled after Versailles. For sure, as well as Linderhof. We spent F...

Just five days stand between me and America. But first, Rome! Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Tomorrow = Exam Day. Tomorrow is exam day and I'm getting a bit nervous!

Maybe Fabulous: January 2014
http://maybefabulous.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, 11 January 2014. I believe that as we are all broken in some way or another and that it is only by the grace of God that we are saved. I think as Christians we have a tendency to forget that we are all equal in our brokenness. I read a post a while ago by Annie over at what she saw. That really takes this idea home for me. She is talking about how we see other peoples sins (brokenness) as worse than our own and then judge them for it. Crazy right? You can check it out here. If you are interested.

From frumpy mama to fashionista. Sep 28, 2012. And it’s not even 10am. That deserves a pat on the back. Let me set the stage:. Our sweet daughter, Harlow, is nearing temper tantrum stage a bit earlier than desired. She’s also doing some nap transitioning. We are all overly tired at this point. I will update y’all soon, as I know you’re dying to know how we’re faring. She decided to begin her day about 6:15am, which, of course meant that we all did! And made our way. Yay for a 10 dollar charge. So ignore ...

Friday, January 30, 2015. Sans ads: a follow up on blogging without sponsorships. Six months ago I stopped offering sponsorship opportunities. On Mr Thomas and Me. I talked about the difficulty it presented for me in writing, the way it made me busy with ads instead of post content, how I just wasn't enjoying the work it required of me. So, I did what all quitters do and stopped. Then I shared five strategies. Seriously, I participate in two: #fireworkpeople. Tuesday at 9:00pm EST) and #TheWriteParty.

God is love: February 2011
http://godislovedevos.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 24, 2011. Your love is extravagant. The definition of extravagant is:. Exceeding the bounds of reason, as actions, demands, opinions, or passions. Going beyond what is deserved or justifiable. In the 15th chapter of John Jesus tells us that "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love". God loved Christ so much that He sent Him to the earth to die for all our sins. And Jesus loves us just as much. But we've done nothing to deserve it. Your love is extravagant.
