このため、1960年代から測地網の結合観測を実施し、1970年代には長距離の測定が可能な光波測距儀 ジオジメータ8型 や高性能な経緯儀 ウイルドT3 を導入し測地網の結合に努めてきました。 1990年代初めにGNSS GPS の利用が可能となり、SCAR(Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research 南極研究科学委員会)キャンペーン観測やGNSS GPS 連続観測の実施により、昭和基地の経度 緯度が高精度に地球規模の測地網と結合されました。 測地基準系1967は、1967年 昭和42年 に開催された国際測地学 地球物理学連合(IUGG International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics)の第14回総会で採択された地球楕円体であり、IUGG第17回総会において新しく測地基準系1980(GRS80)が採択されるまでは、国際測地基準系として広く利用されてきた楕円体でした。 本サービスで閲覧できる基準点成果は、ITRF2000に基づいた 改測 改算を含む 成果となります。 X 1,766,207.852m.
