Here in the mountains the forsythia are in full bloom, daffodils have bloomed and are beginning to fade already, trees are starting to show signs of leaves and flowers, bulbs are shooting up their hopeful green leaves, and the grass is greening up. Inside, in my forest of potted plants, my Christmas cactus is blooming magnificently for the first time since I got it, and just in time for Easter. April 1, 2015.
