As 2014 closed, we had 40 nonprofit organizations using the platform. We are happy to say that things have been moving quickly; in just one months time we have increased to over 60 organizations! Our current objective is to ensure that there are enough volunteers on site (currently there are about 500), to fill the needs of those 60 organizations, while also spreading the word about our free platform to new nonprofits. Through a bit of market research, we have found out that the main target group for GiveBackTime will be Millennials. We will explain why we came to that conclusion in a future post, but for now, we thought we should give a little definitional background. I like to look at these defined characteristics as generational superpowers.
