Well, I did and she was and now she is laying! We have success and the split, although not the smoothest one, worked. I started the season with 1 hive, split that one with success and was given a nuc by a friend. So, now I’ve got 3 very busy hives all making lots of honey and brood. On My Walk to Work
On My Walk to Work. This blog is a chance to share a bit of what goes on at the chocolate shop, and it also gives me a chance to show some of what I see as I walk to work. I walk down a long driveway and along a paved rural road, and I walk past a beaver meadow, a stream, woodlands and a farmed field. On many days I carry my camera. Most of these images were taken in my yard or on my walk to work. My project for the spring and summer of 2015 is to photograph all of the wild flowers on my walk to work.
