The soil is very acid and makes the perfect medium for growing shallow rooted ericaceous plants and the Maclarens (father and sons), have chosen to grow a large selection of Rhododendrons. With the arrival of Anna, we have extended the flowering season and introduced a variety of other plants. A warm highland welcome awaits. There are two principle rooms for visitors. Upstairs the larger room has an oak king-sized bed from Norway, views of the garden and a private bathroom with wooden lined walls and free standing bath. The second bedroom is on the ground floor, again with windows onto the garden, king-sized bed and adjoining bathroom with shower. Situated near the sitting room this makes a perfect room for older guests and those wanting time to relax.
