Friday, November 26, 2010. A Pilgrimage to Rome. Constantine became Emperor of Rome when he defeated the Emperor Maxentius at the Battle of Milvian Bridge in 312 AD. Constantine's mother and sister were Christians and after his victory, Constantine converted to Christianity. In 313 AD, he issued the Edict of Milan, legalizing Christianity. If I had seen this book in a bookstore or a library, I never would have thought of reading. But I was assigned this book for school this year. And I found it very enjoyable. This book was intriguing.
