The Argo 150-18 Scooter Experience. I am a new Argo scooter owner, and I would like to share my experience with the scooter. Friday, June 27, 2008. Just Drove It Home. I picked up my scooter today. I had some problems with it dieing when I stopped at stop lights. I took it back and had them increase the idle. The idle is not very smooth on this scooter. My old scooter was a Silver 2006 Bajaj Chetak. The Chetak was a good scooter, but I got tired of shifting and things rattling off of it. It is still running great and I should be able to sell it for what I paid for my new scooter. My new scooter is a Red Argo 150-18. I purchased it at a local dealer in Sacramento.

I just had my first problem. The gas gauge stopped working. When I hit my 500 mile service I will have them fix this. Very Light and Easy To Move Around. Full Face Helmet Does Not Fit Under Seat. I now have 160 miles on the scooter. 1 It is starting to squeak from the transmission/engine area when I am at a stop light. 2 Every time I start from a dead stop I am getting some pre-igniting from the engine. 3 The left break lever is starting to go a little soft. Their was some strange squeaking that was coming from my scooter and it turns out that their is a little rubber bumper that had fallen off of the center stand. This bumper kept the stand from rubbing on some metal parts on the bottom of the scooter. After the bumper was replaced the scooter was back to normal.
