Saturday, February 26, 2011. Kids playing with this cool little circuits kit. Jacob started on experiment #2 putting a fan in series with a switch. We then experimented with adding a light in parallel and in series. Jacob explained why the fan was slower and light dimmer when together in series than alone. Pretty sure he understood why no current went through lightbulb when added in parallel. . Now we are building a reflection detector with a photo resistor. This one is tough :-). Lego Night At School.

Big crowd. Too popular that the falafel stand ran dry :-(. Just put together a Johnny Bench batter up, though its not called that anymore. Kids would asked whos Johnny Bench :-).
