October 11, 2013. This is not a cooking blog, and I am not a cook. But I did once improvise a meatloaf out of food that was around and it turned out to taste really great. Here’s the recipe so you can have Art’s Leftovers Meatloaf. 1 lb ground sausage. 1 lb ground turkey. 1/2 large onion, diced. 1 green bell pepper, diced. 1 tsp pepper (I use cayenne because I like it a bit warm). 1/2 cup barbecue sauce (I use Sweet Baby Ray’s).
