Monday, July 26, 2010. Design Wall Monday: One Thing Leads to Another. I spent a frustrating Saturday morning dealing with real life stuff and nearly all of Saturday afternoon at the computer. At first I was looking for a mystery quilt pattern I could use for the guild- not too hard for beginners but with something of interest for more experienced quilters. Then I got a little sidetracked as it's so easy to do when hunting around on the 'net. And there I found yet another block pattern to fall in love wi...

http://quiltedjonquil.com/2015/06/01/cool-monday-2
Musings on quilting and other things. June 1, 2015. It’s turned a bit cooler and it’s oh, so comfortable. I went to our scrap quilting club sewing day Saturday and had such a good time. I hadn’t been able to make it in awhile and it was good to catch up with everyone. I sewed on my May RSC blocks finishing them up and sewed the second to last round of logs on my log cabin blocks. I have one complete block done and on my design wall 🙂 Click over to Judy’s DWM post. For links to lots of quilty fun. Dar...

Quilted Jonquil | June RSC Blocks
http://quiltedjonquil.com/2015/06/27/june-rsc-blocks
Musings on quilting and other things. June 27, 2015. I’m in under the wire with my finished RSC light blue blocks! These broken dishes are turning out pretty well but I see one of this month’s blocks is a bit on the small side….or maybe one is on the large side. Guess there’ll be some fudging in my future. Musings on quilting and other things. Category Archives: Recycled Clothing Quilts. July 25, 2016. It hit 100 degrees with a heat index of 115! It was a good weekend to stay inside and sew a bit….and sew I did. Here’s my crowded design wall 🙂 I’m linking up with Judy’s DWM post. So hop over and check it out. I’ve been re-arranging the solid colored rectangle samples (top left) trying to find something I really like….this might be it 🙂 Kind of pixelated. How did that happen? Posted in Design Wall Mondays.

This is my self indulgent rambling blog - please feel free to join me for a while or walk on by. Saturday, January 31, 2009. Why the photos of the bedraggled plants you may well ask? It is a case of the same language being different in Australia and America . Here we refer to these as pot plants, however in America they are called potted plants - pot plants refer to something entirely different - and illegal. So I have been challenged to show my plants to prove my innocence ;). Links to this post. The br...

Terrible photo, unfortunately it is the only one taken last night at our small family gathering for Grandpa's birthday. It looks like everyone is enjoying their dinner, and that's more important than a great picture. It looks good to me. I like your postcards, they are little works of art.
