France (Nick Fletcher Collection) WW1, 2010. Image Courtesy of Sullivan and Strumpf. Yet the title Need Head. Australia. Boarding Helmet. Cure for P...

The overall effect of the fifteeen paintings on display was refreshing and sharp. Penny Coss's Light Works was a brilliant exhibition, an inn...Image...

Australian contemporary art writing. Saturday, October 15, 2011. Black and Blue, 2011 (30 x40cm). The combination of colours and texture in this exhibition is particularly beautiful. A stormy fusion of mauve, grey and prussian blue dominates. The paintings titled Black and Blue. Tandem (17.5 x 12.5). Dalrymple's work is exceedingly comfortable in the small to medium scale format. It is where she excels. Given a larger canvas, such as Tumbled Shapes. All images courtesy of the artist. Two Coats of Paint.
