I guess I have a blog: April 2006
http://sarahgossblog.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
I guess I have a blog. Sunday, April 30, 2006. I lost my brand new cell phone. That's right; I lost the new cell phone that I had in my possession for oh, almost a week. After the six hours, they said the contractions had stopped, so I was released to go home, but discovered I had lost my cell phone somewhere in the process of getting so flustered by all the stuff that happened today. I am feeling terribly despondent. Posted by Sarah Goss at 7:40 PM. Links to this post. Wednesday, April 26, 2006. Dear, d...

I guess I have a blog. Wednesday, November 29, 2006. Then, yesterday (Tuesday) she finally made it. Again she rolled on her right side and pressed her face in the carpet, but somehow, this time she got her right arm out and popped up on her stomach, looking totally nonchalant, like she did this every day of the week. It was awesome. I am also worried about her flipping over on her face at night in the bassinet. Can she do this in her sleep sack, does anyone know? Posted by Sarah Goss at 5:52 PM. Http:/ m...

I guess I have a blog. Tuesday, May 30, 2006. I enjoyed this one (stolen from Matt's blog). thought I'd do a bit better, since I am from Long Island. Then again, was I ever from L.I., spiritually? In college, when my dormmates and I played "guess where I'm from," I got "Pacific Northwest." I don't know how much less Long Island-y that could be. (For the record, I think "Pacific Northwest" was the wrong choice for me. I am SO smoldering and dark beneath the easygoing surface :-). You Are 37% New Jersey!

Quiz stolen/borrowed from Matt's LJ. But his result was funnier, I think; his life was a cult classic that appealed to only a few fanatically devoted fans. The Movie Of Your Life Is A Black Comedy. In your life, things are so twisted that you just have to laugh. You may end up insane, but you'll have fun on the way to the asylum.

I guess I have a blog. Tuesday, February 28, 2006. I’m sorry to have to make fun of my own motherwell, not that sorry. But she has been forewarned, and she really does have it coming. She has been giving me something of a hard time about what I eat and expose myself to as a pregnant woman, which is fine, though I’m sure she will admit she can be a bit of a nudge (nooj? Not sure how to render that Yiddish word in English). The Barbarians Are Coming. I love you, Mom (aka M.B., the Matzo Ball). But let's ba...

My mother has a number of wonderful French and Hebrew songs that she sings to Daisy, and she seems to like them so much that I’ve learned a few of them to sing to her, too. But I was gratified to learn that this educational process is NOT a one-way street: yesterday, from the living room, I heard Mom singing Come Sail Away to Daisy as she changed her diaper. On the other hand, I was a very difficult adolescent. I'm sure lots of people wanted to spray mace in my face. I should perhaps feel more touched and honored by the poet's sentiments. Oh well.
