Wednesday, February 4, 2015. I made a goal to be better at our families blog this year, so here it goes! Asael and I became parents on June 15, 2014 to a healthy 8 lb. little boy. We named him Leo Toone Checketts after my dad, James Leo Toone, and grandpa, Leo Eugene Toone. Leo is a mini Asael. He looks exactly like his father! He is now almost 8 months old and is growing like crazy! I knew that I would have tall children, but when the doctor told me that Leo would be around 6'8' , I was blown away!

Asael's family came to the Commencement on April 24th where President Uchtdorf and Elder Cardon spoke to the graduates. We then went to a family party for Asael and his cousin, who was graduating as well. We couldn't be more appreciative of the support that our families gave to Asael that weekend! Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Asael is now 25 years old! Now to explain this picture below. Behind Asael is a BYU blanket. We had received this gift from a neighbor of ours, but Asael said that we should return it because he already had a BYU blanket, so we did. Well, a few weeks later, I received the same blanket, but it was the UTAH blanket, and of course I loved it! So Asael said, "we need to get the BYU one back." Sunday, July 28, 2013. This past weekend we celebrated our 1 Month Anniversary! We went out to dinner and then went to a play at the Hale Center Theatre in Orem. It was so fun to get out of the house, especially since Asael hasn't been able to do much for the past 2 weeks due to his broken foot. 2 weeks ago he broke his foot playing intramural football, so he has had to take some time off of work to recover from that. This past month has been amazing! I am so grateful for Asael and his patience with me!

But it does take a shorter time getting. Ready in the morning! Ok the 2nd part about my blog is. My parents are both teachers and their spring. Break was last week so they decided to come. And visit Nick and I. We went to the Oklahoma Temple. After the Temple we went to the. Botanical Gardens. I love that place. Its so peaceful and beautiful!

At first, I was told that I had to go and take the written test, not open book! I asked her if I could have my Utah license back and she said no! How sad is that?
