Wednesday, July 23, 2008. I got a new quilt this week. You see, I had a little problem. My bedroom is hot! With no central air and window air conditioners in my living and dining rooms, my bedroom never cooled down enough. Saturday, October 4, 2008. I love cake, but not this kind. I just saw this picture in the Tribune and it made me both chuckle and cringe. This kimodo dragon was celebrating his or her 8th birthday with a particularly special cake. Now, I adore cake. I cannot imagine who even thought the cake was necessary in this situation. A cake garnished with dead mice is just a tad on the disgusting side for me. That is so disgusting! But, my boys are going to love this picture when I show them! What I am reading.
