Monday, September 8, 2014. This is what I was waiting for. Munich! The typical view on what Germany looks like, right? Lederhosen, beer steins, bar maids, and a cute Bavarian Village! Who on earth opens up their house to strangers just left up on faith on a friend of a friend he had meet four years prior? AND that folks is the reason why we belong the couchsurfing community. Such a great group of people! Thankfully, I didn't get a huge one totally worth the effort. Now, east vs. west. Berlin!

Friday, August 29, 2014. The City of Love and Romance. sorta. If you know me at all you know I am not the romantic type. So, Paris was a bit foreign for me. The beauty of the city, couples making out on every corner, the beautiful pastries and just how the city stands in grace. BUT everyone has to go to Paris, right? Not sure how that works but there were female nude painting, sculputures and art all over her flat, no husband, no kids. I'm just assuming? After all of this, I was happy to start our Germnay.

After eating at Chang's, the new mom and I headed to Old Navy to see what we could fine. We listened to Sara Evans, "Stronger," and enjoyed each other's company.
