Yes I sucked out on you! Thursday, August 28, 2008. Another 5th place finish but. This time it was for some cash. Took 5th in the Mookie last night. I bounced out of the Mookie when I pushed my A3 off into LJ's. And her monster stack) AK. I lost and she got revenge for crippling her earlier in the tournament. So I'm happy that I actually made some cash for my top five finish this time. But I didn't play all that well. Betty front: All is good. I'm going to her place tonight for dinner. Going to my island.

Low-limit poker and no-limit Life. Sunday, January 4, 2009. At the tables again. Finally, after playing only once since September, I got out to Tulalip for some $1/$3 action last night. It may be the last time I'll play in the next few months too, as I have school starting up tomorrow night. My biggest issue was trying to remain patient. I forgot how boring poker can be: fold, fold, fold, fold, fold. I was blessed with good cards at the right moments. Presto worked out for me nicely here:. FLOP: 6c 6s 5s.

Luxor poker room was kind of dingy looking (don't like the black/gray look to the room), so we wandered to Mandalay Bay. Nice place, pretty (and easy to access) poker room. Very short wait (2am and 4 $1/$2 tables and 2 $2/$5 tables going). One guy at my table has $1400 in front of him; a number of $600 stacks; large, $15-20 preflop opening raises seemed standard. Yes I sucked out on you! Saturday, January 10, 2009. Ok so I have a cold. So of course today is the day that we pick to do all of our errands. So my Saturday starts early. We go to the place where we think we are going to have the wedding. Then we go to get lunch at Quinns. Good food and a great price. I recommend it. Betty had the home made sausage sandwich and I had the Pa tee'. Then I got a frigen parking ticket! Then we went and looked at the wax model of the wedding ring. Went well!

Low-limit poker and no-limit Life. Friday, February 5, 2010. Rush through the stars. First - the good news:. I final tabled both. Took 6th in the FTP one, and 2nd in the Stars one. I might try playing more tournaments for the time being, and hopefully I'll build up a decent roll on FTP to dive back into Rush poker. After all, it's so much fun! Rush Poker - wow. What a goldmine in rake - brilliant from a business standpoint! It is a lot of fun, too. Pauly's post about his Rush Omaha experience.
