Newer posts →. 1490s Borgia dress – costume study. September 10, 2016. Have you seen the Showtime series “The Borgias”? I know it’s a few years old but I don’t care). It’s a wonderful series About the 15th century pop Alexander VI and it’s full of betrails, sex, murder but most of all gorgeous costumes. Wednesday, 18 February 2015. Radband - Prayer beads. Is one example of the things I make for Märta. The next project to be finished is a pink one - I've made a rosary/paternoster. Man ser ganska många kvinnor som håller radband på gravhällar och i annan konst med. Collage by In My Lady's Chamber. Detail from a mourner from the Tomb of Philip the Bold, Duke of ...

The Louisbourg Gown and Stomacher. Saturday, 13 June 2015. 1780s Stays: the Making Of. For those who have not draped foundation garments before, I will write a detailed description of how I went about it. I highly recommend it, if you think it's something you want to try! With the mockup finished, I made the relevant alterations to the pattern and traced it out into a final version. Needless to say, I would request that no one use this pattern without my permission). With the pieces cut and all layers sa...

Flowery cotton Jacket (18th century). Crazy Hedgehog wig →. June 2, 2013. For the 11th challenge on “The historical Sew Fortnightly” – Rectangels – I decided to make something quite simple.
