A Thing for Roses. Thursday, April 11, 2013. Monticello Spring Home and Garden Show 2013. It’s kind of hard to see it in these pictures, but my work bench (the biggest thing I brought) is in there too. Here’s a picture of how it turned out. The show starts tomorrow and runs through May. We had a great time staying at the Omni Parker House Hotel, walking the Freedom Trail, visiting the Boston Commons and eating at a lovely little Irish Restaurant. I broke my leg in November and couldn't walk for 3 months. Then there was learning to trust my leg and not limp the last 3 months. Monday, November 24, 2008. Much has happened the last few months and I am learning how to be patient. We have watched one daughter go thru a divorce and another grow in her walk with God. All is good with them both. On November 9th the first day of vacation to the central coast in California with my daughter and my 4 adorable grandsons I fell down 5 steps landing on concrete and broke my right leg and knee.
