Estelle's: BEER CHEESE FONDUE WITH WARM PRETZELS
http://themainehouse.blogspot.com/2013/10/beer-cheese-fondue-with-warm-pretzels.html
October 17, 2013. BEER CHEESE FONDUE WITH WARM PRETZELS. A TASTE OF AUTUMN. The sky is the limit when decorating the front porch for fall. Creating a welcoming look can be created with vintage finds such as chairs, birdhouses, grapevines, gourds and lights! I adore Adirondacks placed outdoors with falling leaves all around. It certainly gives a carefree country feeling to you outdoor living space. 6 cups chicken broth. 1/2 c chopped celery. 1/2 c chopped onions. 1/2 c green pepper. 1 large jar cheese whiz.

Nancy's Notes: February 2014

Friday, February 28, 2014. So, I Brought Her Home. Oh, this charming little girl looked so adorable sitting in this old antique shop and I must say, she looked like she was really ready to get out of there! Must have been there way too long and think they were happy to get rid of her too. Poor thing. They practically gave her to me! I thought she was just so adorable. So I brought her home. The oval frame is nice, right? I like her little hat. Don't you love her little basket of flowers? I just like her-.

Thursday, August 6, 2015. My Sling Is Gone and My Heart Is Pacing Away! Good Morning to all! I can type now, meaning there's no pain when I lift my arm and I've pitched that harness I had to wear. You know, for some reason I talk with my hands and I had to have my arm in a sling. You know protection from ourselves is quite humorous.at times. It's been 4 weeks since my surgery and I've got two more weeks to take it easy.I have watched nature and TV like never before! Mr Notes is much better at grilling.

In the Middle of Nowhere : Plaid and Cabbage!
http://mimi-inthemiddleofnowhere.blogspot.com/2015/07/plaid-and-cabbage.html
In the Middle of Nowhere. Thursday, July 23, 2015. I recently found this bright green plaid tablecloth.what I didn't count on was it being a very lightweight wool. I sprayed it with water to get wrinkles out.instead it puckered up! Black napkins with yellow woven napkin rings seemed to go best with the table. When I first saw the colors I knew I would be using the bright yellow Secla cabbage dishes that I practically stole from Savers a couple years ago! I will be linking with. Table It/Rustic and Refined.

Sew What: 1 Hour Skirt--Perfect Project For a Rainy Day
http://mysewwhatblog.blogspot.com/2012/06/1-hour-skirt-perfect-project-for-rainy.html
Costumes, Decorations, etc. Tuesday, June 26, 2012. 1 Hour Skirt- Perfect Project For a Rainy Day. Last night while rummaging through some bins in the basement I located a lime green (you know that lime sherbet color? Jersey sheet. I laundered it and thought I could repurpose this full sized sheet into more than one useful item. This was very easy! I did not get my serger out for this quick project. I used a zig-zag stitch instead. Worked well. I then cut a much wider piece of fabric (doubled) for the sk...

Poking fun at the mourning doves, they have all been busy early this morning leaving me little "love notes"? No, wait, scratch that, they've been leaving "Dove Notes". Of course! This is the best I could decipher from the little symbols . let me know if you see something different. Every day ...

Friday, June 26, 2015. Historical and Glorious Walking Tour. Historical Walking Tours.I love them! When we lived in Austin, Texas, I was lucky enough go on a walking tour of some the the oldest and most elegant and historical homes! These gorgeous old homes were just stunning, to get to walk through them was magical. And so very interesting. This house was built in 1873. In 1874, Eugene Bremond paid $15,000 for both the house and the empty lot next door to the east. Is supposedly haunted by Athalie North...
