Wednesday, June 11, 2008. Limber as they roll the dice. Brittle rattlings of dice. Fleshy fingers toss the dice. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thank you for the surgery. View my complete profile.

Carnivore Carnival
http://playgroundtwist.blogspot.com/2008/06/i-read-in-pamphlet-that-life-was.html
Wednesday, June 11, 2008. I read in a pamphlet. That life was platonic. That the great master plan. Could involve plate tectonics. That it’s all non-specific. You can focus yourself just. I went to a lecture. Met a man who devoted. His life to linguistics. Girls who took polaroids. I hoped to find meaning. In mind over matter. Or safety in photons. Or living in sin. I learned in a lesson. That everything’s something. Which fueled an obsession. With searching for Nothing. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Carnivore Carnival: The Barroom Mirror
http://playgroundtwist.blogspot.com/2008/06/barroom-mirror.html
Wednesday, June 11, 2008. My baby is a sociopath. Maybe i am too. He spends 2 hours. In front of the mirror. He’s like light bulbs. He smells like the sun. He feels like paint. My baby is a sociopath. I think i am too. My baby drinks too much. He doesn’t like La Bohème. My baby is a sociopath. He’s my swizzle stick. We fuck under the lion statue. My baby is a sociopath. Or maybe it’s just me. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thank you for the surgery. View my complete profile.

Carnivore Carnival: A poem that I wrote with an 103 degree fever
http://playgroundtwist.blogspot.com/2007/12/poem-that-i-wrote-with-103-degree-fever.html
Monday, December 24, 2007. A poem that I wrote with an 103 degree fever. Maybe a Little Feverish. And maybe a sparkle. They say i should be. Have already entered my. So i think i have more pressing concerns. They have sprouted into. What some might interpret. To be various fungi. And i’m trying. Before they overflow my pensive pails. Wondering about wet dreams. Can we really save the. They’re wandering about in a sorta floaty way. Fucking and cursing god and freud and those. To put in boxes.

Carnivore Carnival
http://playgroundtwist.blogspot.com/2008/06/it-was-upon-looking-away-that-i-saw-how.html
Wednesday, June 11, 2008. It was upon looking away. That I saw how. But that the two had become. Pretty much the same. I began to make things up. A sort of coloring-book. Only the lines kept changing. I gained the power to create an. Where the air was stagnant. There i built a house. Out of those particles. That were more likely to be present. 8216;twas a nice house. As it usually obeyed the laws of physics. If you care to know. For a year or two with. Such words that I wrote. Such words that I wrote.

Discordia Concourse: Davie
http://discordiaconcourse.blogspot.com/2007/06/davie.html
Danyn's blog for Kasey's advanced poetry class. Ah, Formalism. So nice and comfy. Arguments structured like we’re used to, with examples like we’re used to, and in the kind of language we’ve finally learned to manage after all these years of school. Davie is a welcome break from all this crazy-talk poet-scribblin’ (especially after Zukofsky! 8220;Objective” syntax is another place Fenollosa fits, although not completely (Fenollosa is concerned with how the world enters the mind, while objective syn...

Discordia Concourse: Zukofsky
http://discordiaconcourse.blogspot.com/2007/04/zukofsky.html
Danyn's blog for Kasey's advanced poetry class. Zukofsky is HARD. I'ma skip it because he's just way too hard. Srsly. I've read it like 10 or 15 times and highlighted things (I never highlight things) and made my boyfriend's roommate read it and I. It but I don't get. Although I do feel special for recognizing at least one in each group of the poems/authors he quotes and knowing what he's talking about (thank you, Topics in Brit Lit before 1800). Discordia Concourse: Olson
http://discordiaconcourse.blogspot.com/2007/04/olson.html
Danyn's blog for Kasey's advanced poetry class. The musical phrase (breath). Syntax of thought (I think I intuited this). 8220;O Western Wynd” is one of my favorite lyrics ever even though something bothers me about the last two lines, I think the rhythm of “Christ”. What does he mean by OBJECTS? The elements (syllable line image sound sense)? Man, it’s hard to read Olson and not start to write like him. His voice gets stuck in my head. What the heck is he saying about tenses? Great post, Danyn. Yes,...
