Laquo; New Logo. Short Stories Everyone Should Read. I always knew that one day I would have to put the traveling staff in the closet, the exploring boots by the hearth, and retire from World of Warcraft. That day has finally come, and I find myself feeling forlorn at the prospect of saying goodbye to my tiny digital friends. I’ve come a long way, both in real life and in game since I started playing years ago, and my characters have seen their share of changes too. Group Shot, Sylith included. And filed...

Routine Rena: April 2011

Tuesday, April 19, 2011. The 6 month Mark. So it has been 6 months and a few weeks since I popped out the cutest baby in the world (each Mama's prerogative to think their baby the cutest, right? And I figured Bubba's profile is in need of updating. And any orange vegetable really, but squash is supreme. Favorite places: Cruising on Mama's hip. Mama's bed (as opposed to his crib). And anything that is red-ish such as pink and orange. Favorite holiday: Christmas, because there are lights EVERYWHERE.

Ramblings: April 2012
http://onehundredforty.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
At least it makes sense to me. The last month has been insane. Really, truly insane. I heard that a study showed that sleep deprivation can drive you a bit nuts. But I feel fantastic! I'm proud of our work, I'm happy with the nice attention we've received, and I am really happy that I have been able to make and keep good friends at work even through all this craziness. And a big thank you to my mom for hemming the new pants I needed in order to look professional for the big week! I love you, Mom!

Ramblings: Jury Duty
http://onehundredforty.blogspot.com/2009/07/jury-duty.html
At least it makes sense to me. I sat in the courtroom stressing out for the rest of the day (except the lunch break where I walked down to Pike Place Market in 92 degree weather). And I stressed all evening and all night. See, this trip to the ocean. Finally, right before lunch on the second day the voir dire was over and the prosecution and defense each could excuse people on peremptory challenges (no reason required). And the prosecution excused me. Phew! I was so relieved! 24th of July Weekend.

At least it makes sense to me. 11 good things this week. 11 Today. 11:11 11/11/11. 10 walking past the floral department in the grocery stores. 9 Jalapeno Greek Yogurt Dip. amazing stuff - so versatile. 8 Sunny sunny sunny Thursday. 7 didn't get hurt at all when I caught the leg of my pants on a file cabinet at work, even though it tore a huge hole in the pants (fortunately at the end of the day and in a not-to-bad place along my shin). 6 picked up a room that was messy for months. Me: glad you had fun.
