Come on, Baby K! July 30, 2016. July 30, 2016. Yesterday I had my 12 week ultrasound. Everything looked great, and I have finally been able to feel like this is actually happening! My OB said the miscarriage rate is now less than 1%, and it never gets any lower than that! We decided to do the Harmony blood test, which will check for any chromosomal abnormalities, and as a bonus, the gender! We have been missing our pup a lot this week… We know that he would’ve been a great big brother! Oh, the anxiety!

A year teaching abroad in Kuwait. Adventure is out there! Alli's teaching adventure in Kuwait. Merry (late) Christmas and happy new year! I told myself over and over I would post before I went on my vacation to Spain, and that I would blog as soon as I got home but I failed to do both of those things! I was their charity case for a few days, but resolved the problem on Sunday when I called my Kuwait bank and was able to withdraw from the ATMs there. Driving through Spain was beautiful and so diverse!

In about 8 weeks Ramadan will begin, the work day will be shortened, the students will stop coming to school, and the year will end uneventfully. Will I even want to teach? What will teaching be like in the U.S. in 2 or 3 years upon my arrival? Sunset at Uluwatu in Bali.
