Employment | Autism House

Entry level therapists work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism and other behavior disorders. They will help implement behavior intervention plans, academic programs and social skills. Data collection will be done by all therapists. On site training is provided, as well as continued training throughout the year by staff development days and workshops. ABA stands for applied behavior analysis. It is the scientific study of behavior and how the environment effects that behavior. ABA uses positive reinforcement to help increase the behavior we want to see and decrease the unwanted behavior. For more information on aba and autism go to: www.autismspeaks.org. What ages do you service? Typically we work with children who are 18 months-12 years. If your child shows signs of autism or has been diagnosed before 18 months, we will make an exception.
