Daily Quests: The Good and The PLEASE DON’T MAKE ME! December 7, 2012. Posted by Ben in General Whinging. The WoW Blogosphere has been endlessly debating the idea of daily quests since we landed on the shores of Pandaria. Whether they’re required, how many are required, blah blah blah. But I think the biggest problem, is that not all of the daily quests provided to us are “good” daily quests. Or put another way, they aren’t quests that are enjoyable. But what makes an enjoyable daily quest? Recently i ha...

My army of alter-egos:. Elrush – (Blood Elf Priest) aka Crusader Ambassador Elrush the Seeker, Kingslayer of the Ashen Verdict Nightfall, Champion of the Frozen Wastes. I really, really love this character. The changes to mana-efficiency and the number of other cloth-wearing lvl 85 characters in my guild have pushed me to…. Rushette – (Goblin Shaman) Born to heal. Dual-specced as Elemental for questing/dailies. My main of the moment. Rushes – (Undead Hunter) The first of my Cataclysm alts. Notify me of n...

A moment, please? | Scribblings on the Asylum Wall

A moment, please? January 25, 2013. Posted by Ben in Uncategorized. I’ve noticed a disturbing new trend in dungeons while leveling over the past two weeks. Attempting to take the entire dungeon as one continuous pull. 8221; and got a snarky comment back from the dps. When Keristrasza died, the tank only said “too slow” before abruptly leaving the party with his cohorts. I think the entire experience took just over fifteen minutes. February 14, 2013. Notes From a New WoW Healer. Newer posts →. I love you all. Now go away. This is not the Brann Bronzebeard post. It’s not a Yetimus post. It has nothing to do with healing. This is a post about why I’m not writing those other posts. There are too many people reading this blog. There are too many people following me on Twitter. More importantly, I am following too many people on Twitter. We’re spending too much time together. GO DO THE QUESTS! That plan seems to have failed. This is my plan B. I&#...IR...

Today, I closed comments early on my post from yesterday. No one said or did anything wrong. I didn’t have to do anything except hit approve on people who had never commented here before, and I didn’t have to unapprove anything. As usual, my commenters are very well-behaved. October 24, 2012. Posted by Stormy in Guild Stuff. I’ll admit that I’m kind of odd: I love reading “what I’m doing in WoW” posts from other bloggers, but I never write them. I just assume other people don’t really give a rip what I’m doing in-game. Writing one of these once in a while never hurt anybody, right? October 20, 2012. Posted by Ben in Classes.
