The two kinds of posts… | a week in seoul

https://aweekinseoul.wordpress.com/2008/09/17/the-two-kinds-of-seoul-posts

A week in seoul. Two adoptive parents exploring the city where our daughter was born. The two kinds of posts…. There are two kinds of posts for each of our days in Seoul…a stripped-down highlights version, and a version where we drag out almost every photo we took that day in some attempt to remember it all. The short ones will probably skip over too much, but the long ones will. We met was kind, and that the sights were incredible. Can’t wait to go back. By themagpiesnest on September 17, 2008. What we wish we would have done… | a week in seoul

https://aweekinseoul.wordpress.com/2008/09/17/what-we-wish-we-would-have-done

A week in seoul. Two adoptive parents exploring the city where our daughter was born. What we wish we would have done…. I feel like we did a lot while we were in Seoul, but I wish we’d had a few more days. There are some things we really wanted to do and didn’t get the time. I know that makes a great excuse for going again (and we will! Here’s our list of woulda-coulda-shoulda:. 1 War Memorial…we went to the DMZ on an organized tour ( Day Four. 2 Korea House…we went to Sanchon instead ( Day Three. 4 Buy ...

Day Three: Meeting K, 4-19 Memorial, Insadong and Sanchon | a week in seoul

https://aweekinseoul.wordpress.com/2008/06/23/long-day-three-meeting-k-4-19-memorial-insadong-and-sanchon

A week in seoul. Two adoptive parents exploring the city where our daughter was born. Day Three: Meeting K, 4-19 Memorial, Insadong and Sanchon. We’d stayed up pretty late the night before wrapping gifts (I’d heard gifts in Korea are wrapped beautifully, so trading some sleep for my best effort at wrapping seemed like a good idea). We woke up very tired, but it was the day we were finally going to meet our daughter! Mr C and D:. I read, for example, he says that South Koreans went from $87 per capita GDP...

Day Seven: Palaces (Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung), The Elusive Red Mango, Time with K, Our Last Night | a week in seoul

https://aweekinseoul.wordpress.com/2008/06/27/hello-world

A week in seoul. Two adoptive parents exploring the city where our daughter was born. Day Seven: Palaces (Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung), The Elusive Red Mango, Time with K, Our Last Night. We didn’t want to believe this was our last day in Seoul. I wish we’d had more time. There were lots of places we didn’t see, things we wanted to do but ran out of time…I can’t say enough about how great Seoul is, or what an enjoyable city it is to explore. And Chang-deok Palace (. Site, Tourism site. The palaces ar...

Day Four: DMZ, Yeouido, Antique Market, E-Mart, Myeong-dong | a week in seoul

https://aweekinseoul.wordpress.com/2008/06/24/long-day-four-dmz-yeouido-antique-market-e-mart-myeong-dong

A week in seoul. Two adoptive parents exploring the city where our daughter was born. Day Four: DMZ, Yeouido, Antique Market, E-Mart, Myeong-dong. Day four was one of the only open days we had during our week…almost every other day we’d be with K or doing something related to K. We thought the best way to use our open day was with a tour of the DMZ. We had some hesitations about dedicating so much time to it, but most of the adoptive parents we’d talked to said it was #1 on the must-do/must-see list.

Photo Workshop on Santorini Greece with Dan Anderson

Photo Workshop on Santorini with Dan Anderson. On May 3rd 2010 a group of intrepid travelers and photographers met on the patio of the Ira Hotel in Firostefani, Santorini, Greece to begin a photo workshop led by Dan Anderson and organized by Jacque Boehm Steedle of Strabo Photo Tours. It was a long day for some of the travelers as a two day air traffic controller strike had led them to a 7 hour ferry ride rather than a 45 minute flight. This site provides a communication center for the attendees.

A Week In South Bend

A Week In South Bend. Tuesday, May 24, 2005. Posted by Dietrich 9:17 PM. Before I left Norman, my sister recommended I only buy a home if I can get a monthly payment that is equal to or less than what I would be paying to rent an apartment. It sounded like she had worked through the numbers in detail. Apartment rent is a sunk cost, but there are enough sunk costs in mortgage payments (especially interest) that can make them undesirable. Posted by Dietrich 11:55 AM. Day 7: Home Inspection. There weren't a...
