Photography is something Ive been interested in for a number of years. I've been attempting to spend more time shooting photos recently. I hadn't shot film in quite a while, and moving to a digital SLR has taken some relearning. The photo's on this site are all experiments with the camera. When it comes to technology my background is in networking and security, but I'm starting to become more interested in how people use technology. I've been spending time trying to figure out why it is that we seem to have less free time instead of more as the computer revolution promised us. I tend to listen to many different kinds of music. My current interest is getting through the music available via the SXSW samplers. I also like to work on electronic music based on field recordings. I use Ableton Live. On an Apple Macbook Pro. For my sequencing/processing, and I would say that most of my music falls into the categories of ambient, experimental, glitch, and noise. Where I can get together with other like minded individuals. I'm in some debate about posting my music to this site, or build...

Not a blog :. When I first started this site I had the idea that it would be a way to distribute some ideas and content. I tried blogging. For a time, but found that I really would rather spend time thinking through my ideas and keep my uncensored output in a journal where it belongs. Once upon a time I wrote fiction. It seems like once I fell into a career my time to focus on more artistic things seems to have disappeared. I'm trying to correct that recently without completely neglecting my wife and children. work has it's demands, but there has to be some sort of balance.
