Stealing Time | A Writer's Quest
https://awritersquest.wordpress.com/2012/06/21/stealing-time
A Writer's Quest. To publish, or not to publish? June 21, 2012. I read a blog post by Neil Gaiman recently, where someone had asked for advice about finding time to write. He said, basically, that you have to take the time. You have to take it from the world, because no one is going to /give/ it to you. Taking that to heart, I’m going to start stealing time whenever I get the chance. Tonight the result is four full pages of outlining! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. A “The End” | A Writer's Quest
https://awritersquest.wordpress.com/2012/09/03/a-the-end
A Writer's Quest. To publish, or not to publish? A “The End”. September 3, 2012. Wrote a post, it got eaten. Blast. In short: my experiment was a resounding success! SO UNCOMMON. Working here and there (mostly while babysitting open houses on the weekends, four hours, two days in a row, unless I don’t feel like it) I completed two outlines and began production on the second of them. I finished it yesterday. Rend it to pieces. Back to typing. Shall become famous author soon. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

A Writer's Quest. To publish, or not to publish? June 2, 2012. I read Stephen King and my thoughts turn to darker stories and I start contemplating monsters, murderers, dark houses and childhood terror. I love fairy tales, I love mysteries. I read Agatha Christie, Sherlock Holmes, Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland, and every damn one of them changes my mind about the kind of writer I want to be. So there’s that. A Writer's Ponderings
There is no idea so stupid or hackneyed that a sufficiently-talented writer can’t get a good story out of it. - Lawrence Watt-Evans. Sunday, April 12, 2015. A Writer's Progression
Blair B. Burke. Saturday, July 4, 2015. The importance of word choice. Out of the way, lard-ass.". What do you think of that line? Completely out of context, who do you think would say something like that? Who would it be directed at? What does it tell you about the world and place where it was uttered? All her life and the locals view her as one of their own, if not necessarily a friend. The insult wouldn't have any racial overtones. Out of the way, lard-ass.". Blair B. Burke. The Writer's Realm
Sometimes words are better left unspoken, sometimes you just have to let them out. The beer was cold. The mood, chipper. We filled our snogs and said. 8220;Have one for the Gipper”. The Gipper was pleased. To say the least. And he joined us. For a hearty feast. No meal we had,. So we drank more beer. And had laugh attacks. A “snog” of beer. Is what we had,. It's a stoneware mug. So fill my snog. If you please, my dear. And sit down right here. Oh my goodness,. There was the Gipper. Flat on his ass. Suffo...
