Mike, Veronica, Grace, Max and Bennett. Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Grandma saves the day. One day last week we got a phone call from Grandma Kate, she was in Salt Lake for a meeting my dad had to attend. I hadn't been feeling well for several days and I was just sick of being sick - so we happily met at the Gateway for lunch. After lunch we headed to Hogle Zoo, one last visit before our year pass expired. I have to say, Grandma getting up on the carousel, I was pretty impressed. Posted by Veronica Tyler.

Mike, Veronica, Grace, Max and Bennett. Tuesday, September 18, 2012. How could I have forgotten to blog the most strange parade I've ever been to? On Labor Day we went to the Founders Day parade in Wellsville. I had never been (at least in memory, my mother swears she took me many times when I was little.) I found a great parking spot, a great place on grass with curb on the side of the road, and silly me thought we were at the start of the parade route, nope! The horse poop clean up crew even had a sign.

Part of me wanted to keep it to myself, but I couldn't. I knew he'd be excited too. After thinking about it all day I decided to spell it out in fridge magnets. We had a blast, Mike and I went when it opened with the kids for a few hours, then went home and came back around 5pm with his mom and nice. I was surprised I slept at all that night. My alarm went off at 430 and I made sure I had everything I needed for the hospital, and everything the kids needed for a sleepover at Mike's parents.
