I had every intention of posting more regularly but well, intentions and inclination apparently do not always see eye-to-eye. Now I have some catching up to do. I will start with some pictures of the field trips on which we have gone and give you the added bonus of a history lesson while I am at it. Now that we live here we can take even more advantage of the history jackpot. A Pittsburgh street with streetlights on at noon.

Thursday, September 22, 2011. I had to get some pictures of Miss Molly in her favorite outfit - not only is it hilarious and super cute, but also represents her personality pretty well. I saw a very pretty photo of a little girl in her tutu and cowgirl boots on etsy. That I wanted to get for Molly's room, but it has since disappeared. =( Oh well, Molly is cuter and has cuter boots! And since I don't have Amanda. Elijah gets in on the dancing fun, too. I think he's an airplane here. These are GREAT, Jules!

Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Fall is coming. We've had some crisp nights (didn't realize it was going to get down into the 30s the night I decided to leave the windows open! And some chilly days. I'm looking forward to this upcoming season. It's my favorite. I haven't been taking many pictures recently, except at the kids soccer games. I can put a few from my phone on here.that's usually what I have available when I try to take pictures, but the quality is lacking. Tyler got to try out his 'hands' at goalie.

Monday, March 19, 2012. A New Season for the Rathbun Family. Spring has sprung a little early here in the Northeast but it's not just the great outdoors that is changing.After living in Connecticut for 12 years, we are moving. Today Luke gave his official resignation and in about three weeks we will pack up all of our earthly belongings into a moving truck and head "south". Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Pittsburgh international children's festival. We stuck to all the free activities they offered (except for some Rita's b/c what is a festival without a little Italian Ice) and had loads of fun. Bicycle spin art done on old vinyl records. Saturday, October 23, 2010. She's Never Serious for Long. I was just messing around with my camera having fun the other night. The kids and Luke enjoy carving pumpkins together and this year they decided to do it a little differently. Instead of your run-of-the-mill jack-o-lantern, they chose templates. Saturday, May 05, 2012. Summer haircut for the boy. I'm always amazed at how much hair this kid has! I think I could have made a couple of wigs with the pile of hair on the floor. It was nice to be able to do it out on my parent's deck in the cool of the morning (where the mess wasn't such a big deal). Nice - but then again I am bias when it comes to guys who have hair! Tell him Uncle Charlie said he looks very handsome! Love the new cut! Glad to see your posts and see you guys are all doing well!
