Sunday, April 25, 2010. I got in Tuesday night and then "officially started" on Wednesday. The mom told me I could sleep in as much as I needed so that I could get acclimated to my new time zone! I don't really "sleep in" no matter what time zone I came from and what time zone I am in. I woke up around 8:45am because I could hear the boys downstairs. I went and showered first, because let's face it.I was gross from all of my traveling.and then I went downstairs to meet the boys! Unless he was on a bottle!

Sunday, July 25, 2010. Some of the pens holding these crocodiles held up to 500 crocodiles. 500! There was a large mote around the perimeter of the sloped walls but it we figured they could have still put greater distance between us as and those crazy, hungry looking crocodiles. IKES! We were so close. They still were scary with their mouths closed. Look at how many crocs are in here! These two looked like they were buds. He was not wanting any part of being friends. Saturday, May 21, 2011. Sri Lanka Beach Vacation. We spent most of our time either playing in the waves of the India Ocean, relaxing in the pool, or reading and soaking up the sun. It was a great time for us to spend some time with friends that we'll be missing soon and relax before we begin our transition back home. Sunday, February 13, 2011. I was finally put in the online system a couple days ago, so this weekend all I've been doing is grading worksheets and entering them in my gradebook.not very exciting! Because I was almost rolling on the ground laughing at it, but I forgot them now.so maybe next time I'll remember to do it right away :). Wednesday, January 19, 2011. I went in yesterday for a job interview and it went really well. I had a good foundation because my cooperating teacher is friends with the principal I was interviewing with, the principal where I did my student teaching is good friends with her, and my cooperating teacher's sister works at that school. But all of those good recommendations did not stop me from being incredibly nervous! It almost made it worse because I had to live up to all of the hype! Anyway, it paid off!

Thursday, July 15, 2010. Alright, so we're approaching 2am and I can't sleep. I don't even want to think about the fact that I have to be up in 6 hours to entertain children.
