The Adventures of Team Nelson. Monday, November 29. I love Christmas and everything about it! Since Ken was abandoning me for two weeks (also known as the EVIL Captain's Career Course), we decided to get the tree right after Thanksgiving! These baby trees look nice! Daddy presents the next potential Nelson tree for our appraisal. Why can't you just pick a tree, Mommy? Thomas is getting so grown up! Mommy sporting a new haircut. Look at my tree! Monday, November 8. A day in the life. Breakfast went better...

http://teamnelson-md.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
The Adventures of Team Nelson. Wednesday, September 8. William is 3 months old! Hard to believe that this little guy is already 3 months old but he is! He had a good 2 month well baby check on August 3 and his stats then were 12 lbs 13.5 oz and he was 24.5 inches long! He is a big boy! He is cooing, smiling and even laughing! His other milestone is that he rolled over (front to back) while we were at the lake at the end of August! Loungin in my overalls. Already outgrowing one of my favorite outfits!

The Adventures of Team Nelson: Simple Questions
http://teamnelson-md.blogspot.com/2012/04/simple-questions.html
The Adventures of Team Nelson. Friday, April 20. It has never ceased to amaze me the ease at which complete strangers would come up and talk to me when I was pregnant. If this had happened only a few times, I would have chalked it up to chance, but throughout the duration of all four pregnancies, I would constantly be fielding questions about my "condition". Usually the questions were basic-. How far along are you? Are you having a boy or a girl? Followed by "Do you have a name picked out? After we found...

The Adventures of Team Nelson: March 2012
http://teamnelson-md.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
The Adventures of Team Nelson. Tuesday, March 27. Someone who had lost their precious baby. There had to be a story behind it. After a bit of searching, I found the website. "Bring the rain" is a website created by Angie Smith, the wife of one of the members of the group Selah. The website was started after she received the news that their baby Audrey probably would not survive long after birth. It was my story too. Wednesday, March 21. A year gone by. The Adventures of Team Nelson: May 2012
http://teamnelson-md.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
The Adventures of Team Nelson. Tuesday, May 15. I wondered if I was the case that she would be presenting. Then I shook myself and thought how conceited I was to even consider that as a possibility. There was a sheet of case vignettes for the ethics panel. Mine was the last one. And did I really want to listen? It took everything I had not to stand up and scream at them. "We just wanted to give our daughter a chance! Why was that so hard to understand? I think that is what hurt the most. That just be...

The Adventures of Team Nelson: December 2010

The Adventures of Team Nelson. Tuesday, December 7. Is the Hallmark company on drugs? Ok, so I know that it is a random question, but if you have seen the latest Hallmark commercial for Christmas, you know what I am talking about. For those of you who don't, let me paint a picture for you. A cute little girl, about 7 or 8 years old, is sitting next to the Christmas tree next to her dog Fluffy. She gazes at the tree adoringly and says "15 days, 22 hours, 10 minutes and 15 seconds until Christmas! This web...

The Adventures of Team Nelson: March 2010
http://teamnelson-md.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
The Adventures of Team Nelson. Tuesday, March 2. Today we had lots of fun fingerpainting while it snowed outside! Special painting smocks and lots of newspaper on the floor prevented me from getting too worried about the messiness of it all. One look at the two of them painting away with huge grins on their faces made the mess TOTALLY worth it. Let the fingerpainting begin! Joe making a masterpiece. I love being this messy! Hmm, I think I will smear the paint all over my face and then try to eat it!
