Monday, January 31, 2011. Quick fix: Straw hat. So I thrifted this hat for two dollars a couple weeks ago, but the brim of the hat just felt a little bulky to me and it had black ribbon glued onto it which I didn't love. I knew I could fix it really easily (which is why I bought it anyway) and here's how it went:. This is how the hat looked originally. I loved the big bow but didn't like the ribbon brim. So I cut it off with my trusty sewing scissors. They're probably gonna need to get sharpened now.

Wednesday, September 21, 2011. So about 8 months ago, I helped my cousin Erik out with a project he was doing for his photography class. He needed me and a friend to model for him in a editorial-style photoshoot. He gave us a pretty good sized budget, and we literally thrifted our entire outfits for the shoot! Most of the budget money went to some lovely Urban Decay. Eyeshadows and liquid liner. Here's some pics from the shoot! So there you have it :) Some really cool shots came out of it, dontcha think?
