I embrace new technology as a tool to help generate different ways to present work. For me, technology enables new marks and languages to present ideas in ways relevant today. My sculptural work involves using digital models that are cut into slices to reveal excerpts of the whole. The pieces are an investigation into 3D scanning and CT scanning technologies, exploring the mark-making possibilities when presented as giclee prints or laser etched onto layers of acrylic sheet. 1997, PGCE Art and Design.

New work and a fresh post! Wow, have I been slack or what? Feast your eyes, and keep an eye out for the printed version. I'm partly tempted to leave it as it is, and just show the block because it looks so good. Without further ado:. Mike Leigh, block partly cut. Finished cutting, rubbed uncut areas with conte crayon to indicate shadows. I'm Phil, making prints from whatever pops up in my head and won't go away. The image is what matters, not what I look like or other trivia. If you. Create a free website.
