Saturday, June 27, 2009. Trying not to skip breakfast. So I have a problem I almost always skip breakfast and why? Well because I LOVE breakfast but I hate it when I have to have it on the run and I can't sit down and enjoy some eggs and some nice toast or some kind of pastry. Our body needs fuel to do things in the morning so skipping breakfast is not good. Thank god that we have fast metabolisms, for if we didn't, we'd be bigger than an obese elaphant! So very thankful for that. I came across this recipe for homemade pop-tarts awhile back when I was browsing threw Peabody's.
