Just a little blog! Wednesday, August 10, 2011. Gizdich Ranch - Summer 2010. Our dear friend, Vanessa,. Grew up south of San Jose in beautiful Monterey. As a child, her family visited Gizdich Ranch. In Watsonville and when we moved to California, she insisted that we needed to make the trip down to try their apple pie. So we did! Just a little blog! Monday, February 4, 2008. Sorry it's been so long. We’ve been very busy. We enjoyed seeing what Santa Cruz has to offer. It has a very different atmosphere then conservative Colorado [Boulder excluded! Santa Cruz was absolutely beautiful. We could hardly believe it. Just a little blog! Friday, July 10, 2009. James turned 1 on July 4th! We can't believe it's already been a year! We celebrated the 4th of July with some friends. We were all pretty tired and left before the fireworks even started. We are old. James showed his patriotism by chewing on the American flag. Our friend Nichole made him a cake! We celebrated our son's 1st birthday on Sunday the 5th. This is what a genuine one year old looks like. James was looking at the balloons that we hung up.
