THOUGHTS FROM CANADIA: February 2005
http://mooseandmounties.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 25, 2005. Another day, another city. And so, I have moved on from Manchester to Leeds, leaving the guy I stayed with for the past two days behind. I had big plans to talk to him about lots of issues; not just are-you-going-out-with-someone-else issues (this stems from a couple of years ago, and I still don't have the answers! So now I am here to see what Leeds has to hold for a night.rock on. Posted by Jen at 18:24. Is the grass greener? Which has served to remind me that; love comes alo...

THOUGHTS FROM CANADIA: October 2004

Sunday, October 31, 2004. Another day is ended. Live as brave men; and if fortune is adverse, front its blows with brave hearts. We spent the evening vegging and revelling in the joys of Halloween, after Denise. I hope everyone is well, and I miss you all. Posted by Jen at 22:56. Not your usual Saturday night. On the night before Halloween, we go to an Ann Summers type party. A selection of products appear for our perusal, as demonstrated by "Nurse Davis" - in the shortest nurse's outfit ever, guaran...

THOUGHTS FROM CANADIA: December 2004
http://mooseandmounties.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 30, 2004. The madness begins on Sunday. Wednesdays and Sundays are going to be hellish, as they are the hard days. However one of the sports and fitness companies here, the Running Room, has a running club on those two days (was this organised with them? If not it's a marvellous coincidence) so hopefully I can go and run with other regretful people who signed themselves up in a moment of madness. Posted by Jen at 13:43. Tuesday, December 28, 2004. A more serious aside. Today seems to h...

Spring is in the air.and with that, so too is love. I don't know what it is about spring, but has anyone else noticed it's a time of year when alot of people simply get tired of their marriage? The truly baffling thing is, that nobody ever embarks on such an endeavor with the intent to completely fuck up their lives, but it's usually what ends up happening. Isn't it? 5 Things to keep in mind while getting a divorce. You aren’t the only person this is happening to. Don’t defame the other partner. Well tha...

Came up with this at work today while I was avoiding being productive. Every day is the sabbath. As part of the new religion, it will be heresy to work on the sabbath. Heretics will be booted from the protective umbrella of the religion, and sent to suffer under the oppressive yoke of one of the other more guilt-ridden religions. Besides, the weather on May 31st is much nicer anyway. Mwahaha.haha.hahaha.ha. Posted earlier by DM, the resident idiot. 9 Bottle(s) of beer on the wall. If you pull in there, I...

THOUGHTS FROM CANADIA: March 2005
http://mooseandmounties.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 31, 2005. The rain in BC falls mainly on Vancouver. I write this with a stomach ache, which is probably the result of my having eaten two big filo pastries with spinach and cheese in. They always look a lot smaller before baking. However, on the up side, I did write 1,500 words of my research summary today whilst watching the tennis. Who let me say now, is very cute. Sadly engaged, but cute. In other news, the rain just keeps on falling here. Posted by Jen at 21:42. Tuesday, March 29, 2005.

THOUGHTS FROM CANADIA: January 2005
http://mooseandmounties.blogspot.com/2005_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 31, 2005. Anyway, three scenes and lunch brought us up to 5pm. The last scene saw me in the dress, at the front of a wedding, clapping the happy bride and groom. It was cool when the director said the magic 'wrap' words. Being an extra is fun! Though tiring. Pictures to follow, if I can be bothered to dress up again :o). Posted by Jen at 20:57. Sunday, January 30, 2005. On leaving the house, the agent casually enquired which one of us was looking to buy? Posted by Jen at 19:47. This eveni...

I'm not quite dead. You'll be stone dead in a moment.you're not fooling anyone you know. The Monkey's computer blew up, it was a 6 yr old dinosaur and the great hard drive eating comet finally destroyed it. From the ashes, and the good graces of the finance department at Best Buy a new computer has taken it's place. Posted earlier by DM, the resident idiot. 5 Bottle(s) of beer on the wall. College Stupidity.Vol 5.and the horrid tale of The Sauce. With one year of college behind us, already those of us who had migrated from small town high school to slightly larger college town had begun to lose touch with our roots. My friend Nelson and I had rooms across campus from each other, and rarely hung out anymore, but when we did, it was interesting to note that the stupidity I had witnessed was mirrored on the other side of campus. You get the idea. One guy turned down $1000.00 to take a dri...

Wow what an ass-kickin that was. I'm referring, of course, to the yearly evisceration the Chiefs receive at Invesco Field at Mile High. (that doesn't sound near as cool as mile high, but the house that Elway built makes me shudder). We get another shot at them.in OUR house, where we don't have to listen to that irritating IN-COM-PLETE bullcrap. I'm personally hoping we hang a 50 point ass-kickin on them that day, but we have the Eagles to worry about next. There's some good news. When you could easily di...
