What do we do? Teams and other Weekly Activities. All cadets applying for cadet summer training must be medically fit and submit an application. Note that due to the remote location of some Cadet Summer Training Centres, cadets with severe allergies or other medical conditions that may require rapid medical attention may be precluded from attending certain courses. The Squadron band practices on Monday evenings under the direction of Captain A Lau, assisted by Mr B Lam and the Drum Major, FSgt I Leung. They play at the monthly COs Parade, attend band clinics, compete in the regional band competition and participate in the Hyack Parade. What do we do? Teams and other Weekly Activities. What do we do? Whether in a Glider or in a Powered aircraft, Familiarization flying keeps the air in Air Cadets. With the ability to take one passenger in a glider or three cadets in a Cessna 172 on a powered fam flight, if you are looking to get in the air, you have come to the right place. The squadron has the opportunity to glide twice each spring and fall – gliding locations are at Pitt Meadows Airport, Langley Airport and Abbotsford Airport.
