In chapter 3 of Spontaneous Happiness, Dr. Weil explains why the biomedical model of medicine is faulty (not irrelevant, but faulty). This approach makes sense. I was first prescribed Zoloft in late 2009, and I have been on it ever since. (I still have a couple of weeks weaning off left.) Did it help me?
