Voilà: September 2008

Wednesday, September 17, 2008. How much wood coulda wood chuck chuck? As I drove into work today and had my first glimpse of Ike's aftermath, all I could think of is what are they going to do with all these trees? So are my fellow Houstonians. There's a spirit here, a camaraderie. Tuesday, September 16, 2008. So Houston, ready or not. here we come! Monday, September 15, 2008. And the beat goes on. Sunday, September 14, 2008. Around 1:00am my parent's home lost power. They spent the early morning hour...

Voilà: All about Aaron
http://voilamoss.blogspot.com/2008/11/all-about-aaron.html
Monday, November 17, 2008. The last seven days have been non-stop, on the go for Aaron. He flew home from France on Monday, Nov.10 getting in to Houston late in the evening after traveling a good 22 hours total! The next morning, I woke him up early and off we went to buy his graduation present. A new Toyota Tundra 4x4! Neither Aaron nor I have ever bought a brand new car but we couldn't pass on this great deal. And yes, that is his tongue sticking out - yuck! Fred A true Yooper. As you can see! Aaron wi...

Voilà: July 2008
http://voilamoss.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 28, 2008. And I gave him the "achante" and headed back home. Sunday, July 20, 2008. A day of worship (check) rest (check) and reflection (double check). But I still have another 6 hours before I go to bed! Now Church is in French, hymns are in French, newspaper is in French, movies are in French, and unless I want to play checkers, games are in French. Here waffles are for dessert, the couch is also our bed, and for now, I have no girlfriends. Friday, July 18, 2008. Dancin under the Eiffel.

http://voilamoss.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 7, 2009. Okay, so I haven't really posted anything in quite some time but I'm back on the blog wagon. I look forward to staying in touch better as so many of you do on this world wide web we divulge so much of our personal information on. It's been a pretty eventful couple of months for us since we moved back from France. This year's going to be great! It's gonna be awesome, don't you think? Why all this jubilee you may ask? Life has been good to us. As of this month, Aaron is one year...

Thursday, October 9, 2008. Ocean front property. on the French Riviera! After a 2 month absence, I'm back in France and to no surprise I'm lovin' it! While I was evacuating from Hurricane Ike my better half was moving to a new apartment (that makes move #5 for us in our two year marriage :) but this place was worth the endeavor. We are literally, across the street from the beach, yes, literally. This picture was taken from our balcony as the sun is setting just to prove it. Jealous? Well, you get what yo...

http://voilamoss.blogspot.com/2008/10/uninvited-guest.html
Friday, October 17, 2008. The weather here has been so fabulous so we have been keeping the doors to the patio open to let the breeze blow through the apartment. Well, as we were cooking some burgers for lunch today the aroma was enticing to a passerby so he/she decided to come on in to check it out. Yup, that's right, we had this icky bird in our living room! Thanks for the good laugh! October 17, 2008 at 10:17 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ocean front property. on the French Riviera!

Tuesday, November 4, 2008. I was still in France on Halloween and much to our surprise, Aaron and I had kids come to our door in search of some candy. We felt so bad because we didn't have anything! Well, two bananas but I don't think they would've liked that. I honestly did not realize that the French did Halloween. I never saw anything at the stores as far as candy or costumes but low and behold, we had little ghosts and goblins running around our apartment complex. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Voilà: Mission Accomplished
http://voilamoss.blogspot.com/2008/10/mission-accomplished.html
Friday, October 24, 2008. We did it, we really did it! Captin Aaron C. Moss is now a MBA graduate! You'll have to have him explain the whole "captain" thing ;). Two years ago, almost to the day is when Aaron told me that he found a graduate school with the ideal MBA program for him. then he told me the school was in France! How delighted I was to find out that my guilt about being such a "taker" could be softened knowing that I also gave. So cheers to the recent Moss graduates! October 25, 2008 at 3:02 PM.

Voilà: February 2009
http://voilamoss.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 25, 2009. In case I didn't have enough to do, I am also working on my CFP (certified financial planner). I have a year's worth of courses to take followed by a 10 hour exam, blah. Basically, life is just not as fabulously fun and interesting as it used to be. I'm totally fine with that, it's my choice, but I won't bother the rest of you with the boring details. Thus, this blog is going on the back burner for a bit along with a lot of other things in my life unfortunately.
