Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Matthew William 10 months. This post is a little different than the previous monthly posts because Matt has a fractured femur. I fell down the stairs when we were visiting family in Atlanta and we ended up in the children's hospital. It was the worst expereince of our lives so far and we're grateful that it's only his leg and everything will heal and he'll be back to crawling and walking in no time! Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Last night was the first night of Hanukkah! I thought it would be fun to start some of our own family traditions and of course include the old ones. I grew up lighting the menorah, opening a little present, and on the first night we usually had latkes :). Lighting the Menorah. My Grandma gave me the menorah above a few years ago - I love it! I want to order this whale menorah. For Matt for next year - so cute, right? I love reading her blog :). Melinda (Beauty About It).

Tuesday, March 18, 2014. About the size of a jicama. Weighing in at about 3 3/4 pounds and measuring 16 3/4 inches from head to heel. With the warmer spring weather I love being able to wear long maxi skirts and flip flops on the weekends. The maxi skirts are very comfortable and flattering when you are pregnant. Friday, February 6, 2015. Matthew William 9 Months. We had Matt's 9 month appointment on Tuesday and he's almost 24 pounds and 31 inches long - 95 percentile for weight and off the charts for height! Matt and I got a cold mid January and that was no fun :( Neither of us got fevers so that was good. Just lots of congestion and coughing. About the same as last month 18-24 top and bottom. Tuesday, April 5, 2016. Matthew William 23 months. We put Matt on the scale the other day and he was 36 pounds, not sure about height but he's tall! We'll find out exactly what his weight and height at his 2 year appointment next month. Matt's still liking his big boy bed and sleeping there most of the night. Some nights are better than others.
