April 22, 2013. Every spring, usually around May, I make the same post (at least I have since 2008). You can go back and check for yourself. The majority opinion and dissent are arduous and I jumped around a bit (okay, a lot) but a decent read. Most of the dissenters simply argue that the Supreme Court didn't have the right to rule and that they were overstepping their power. Who doesn't want or isn't able to have kids. September 18, 2012. I must admit that I've been a little lost the last few weeks. I teach students and then go to school. Wake up early, go to bed not nearly early enough. October 18, 2014. I just watched "The Drumhead" (Star Trek: The Next Generation Season 4 Episode 21). This episode epitomizes why I value this series so much. The writers were able to create timeless content surrounding topics of moral and ethical conduct. It amazes me that our world has made so many strides and yet the same pitfalls remain.
