Wednesday, September 17, 2008. Chase started karate this year, and he LOVES it! It is so cute and it makes me want to explode with pride. Here is a picture from his first tournament. He is normally pretty shy, but he got up in front of a room of about 200 people and did his 'Star Block Set'. He is the best. kid. ever. When all else fails. Wes: "Okay buddy.time to take a bath.". Tuesday, July 22, 2008. The panic attack I had in my classroom last week, induced by the amount of work I still have to do, quickly reminded me that summer is over. :( And that makes me sad. We went to a local park with a few slides twice, went to White Water and ran around like I was a kid again, and spent countless day in the pool throwing Chase and watching him almost grow gills. He is more tan than I've ever seen him and he's such a great swimmer! 2 My pink bandanna. And lots of them! But I still can...

Sunday, April 5, 2009. My top 3 reasons. Why I haven't been running lately. I acquired a nasty cold. It only lasted for a few days.thanks to the all the meds I got shot up with yesterday, but the chest/cough part is still not fun. I'm hoping this also wraps itself up this week. Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Okso technically today is New Year's Eve, but it's never too late to blog about Christmas, right? We have had an amazing week and a half at home! I have two NICE LONG weeks off from work and sometimes I even forget that I even have a classroom waiting for me to go back to next week! It's been so nice to just rest and relax and have a little FUN! Chase and I have stayed in our pj's until pm hours and and stayed up waaayyy too late! So I made it through another Christmas!

Friday, August 29, 2008. Nice move.I must say. I have always called myself a Democrat, and really hoped Sen. Clinton would be our next leader. When it comes to politics in general, I assume that ignorance is bliss and continue with my back woods life. I have realized lately that I am letting one or two very personal, very strong moral beliefs decide my political party. Today's news was the first that made my eye brow raise, and made me think harder about our future Commander in Chief. Lesson for the day.

I've always kinda wanted to, but for some reason today.I just really need to. It's small and cute and I know I would LOVE it. Hmm.dress code at work doesn't exactly allow for it.buuuuut. sigh. When Life Bring's You Lemons, Read Mike's Blog! Saturday, July 24, 2010. Pondering death and what happens afterwards. We have so many religions that promise different things like peace and happiness, eternal damnation with torture, 32 virgins and so forth. I don't want everlasting happiness with no free will. I don't want to be tortured for eternity. ok.maybe 32 virgins would be ok. This made me think of what I would like the afterlife to be. I'd like something more like reincarnation, with a twist.
