Tempest in a Teacup. Sampling the world's teas a cup at a time. Sunday, April 17, 2011. With three down and two to go in my Culinary Tea's Darjeeling sampler, I'm a bit concerned I've already reached the point of diminishing returns. Margaret's Hope is clearly a high quality, excellent tea, but I honestly struggled to find that much of a difference in flavors between this and the Castleton Darjeeling. So, then Margaret's Hope Darjeeling. Links to this post. Friday, April 15, 2011. Perhaps I should call t...

SLY FOX 360 #FAIL | ALEHEADS
https://aleheads.com/2013/07/23/sly-fox-360-fail
Because They're ALL Session Beers…. SLY FOX 360 #FAIL. July 23, 2013. Middot; by Slouch Sixpack. Middot; in Beer Culture. Middot; 11 Comments. When Pennsylvania’s own Sly Fox Brewing. Recently announced the development of a better beer can. I was quite excited. I’d assumed that the world of canovation was reserved for the macro swill hegemony, with research and development budgets aimed at finding ways to deliver product to your gullet as quickly as possible. I proceeded to nearly sever my radial artery ...

I fact, I brought Beer Samizdat back from its watery grave because I friggin' love. Pubs You guys know BrewDog, right? And enjoyed several quite enjoyable ales from the BrewDog lin...

http://www.beersamizdat.net/2014/03/an-imperial-ipa-that-set-my-hair-on-fire.html
Underground dispatches from the craft beer resistance. Tuesday, March 4, 2014. AN IMPERIAL IPA THAT SET MY HAIR ON FIRE. I just got back from a week spent on a. Work trip in Barcelona, Spain. As is so often the case with these work excursions, I'll spend a good portion of my free time swilling the local beer, and hunting mightily for new craft beer spots at which to ply my rough trade. Last time I came out to Barcelona, I spent a few nights at La Cerveteca. And wrote up my "homage to Catalonia" here.

Rich on Beer: January 2014
http://richonbeer.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 24, 2014. FiftyFifty Eclipse 2011 Grand Cru verson. I have a few bottles of Eclipse left on the shelves downstairs, but can never remember what version each is. Since the only defining feature is the color of the wax, I usually don't find out until I take a sip, try to figure it out, then look it up on FiftyFifty's website here. Let's go with that so I feel less bad about my guess. Posted by Rich Isaacs. Friday, January 17, 2014. Posted by Rich Isaacs. Thursday, January 16, 2014. Still tr...

Wednesday, October 30, 2013. Bell's Expedition at Kite and Key. About it. Definitely enjoyed it a little more than fresh. Posted by Rich Isaacs. Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Dieu du Ciel 2009 Peche Mortel. I've had this bottle for quite a long while now partially because I lost track of it for a year or so in our old apartment. One day, I was moving stuff around and found it mixed in with a bunch of other beer which was a nice surprise. Why did it still take me 2 years to drink it? Posted by Rich Isaacs.
