The Liberty Belle is a lovely atmospheric pub, and the window seats are perfect for watching the world go by. This pub/hotel in the little village close to Aysgarth is famous for being the honeymoon destination for James Herriot and his wife – this is displayed on the front of the hotel and elsewhere so you can’t fail to notice this.
