Sunday, April 12, 2009. We finished the waterfowl season with a moderate success. Our bag was normally geese. We had a new dog (puppy) for the season who acquitted himself very well. Bismark and his goose. We had some spectacular winter sunsets. With ducks and geese moving about. Quis enjoyed her time out in the snow. But, found it a little hard on her legs. Saturday, January 31, 2009. We left you with a beautiful sunset from the Mariana Islands, and said goodbye to 2008. But, we also said hello to New Years day two times as we crossed the date line on January 1 on our way back. Out of years of flying in and out of Tokyo I have only seen Fuji three times. It is usually covered in clouds. The big news was that we had a new arrival to the family Augusta Jay on January 10, 2009. We ended the month with another great winter sunset. We flew to Shanghai, and then nine days up the Yangtze to Chungking ( aka Chongqing for you new China hands). Very interesting. The east coast is swimming in money and development. Very impressive. However the wealth isn't shared equally. The interior cities are not showing the same level of development as Shanghai and Peking. View my complete profile.

Had a grand time with it. Toohey's. Was not too happy with the deep snow, and wouldn't go out side. We had beautiful winter sun sets. n.b. The flight of geese in this photo.
