Risque la comparaison avec elle, avec révérence tout de même. Par conséquent il tente de trouver sa place auprès d’elle sans l’insulter. Il permet de regarder Naxos autant comme un paysage insulaire que comme un arrière-pays, sans qu’ il prive de la plaisance de l‘intimité avec l’eau (grande piscine au lieu des fonts individuels, accès facile aux plages) et du confort du séjour.
