Thursday, January 1, 2015. As a new year is ushered in the inevitable reflection that comes with endings is upon me. I haven’t blogged much lately and I’m not really sure why. Maybe there isn’t much to tell? Maybe things have finally settled a bit? Not to mention between that and the diet we almost have seizure control again! Wednesday, July 23, 2014. The babies at the berry patch. The time to make memories. To toss aside the routine and craziness the school schedule provides. To embrace the calm. The open spaces. And the freedom. I truly had my heart set on taking the girls to the blueberry patch. I don't quite know why. I don't remember going to any type of fruit picking when I was little. And honestly I don't love blueberries. But it just seemed like a fun things to do. A fun memory to make. The blueberry picking began.

Sunday, August 9, 2015. Elizabeth has been sick a lot this year with infections, fevers, snoring and sleep apnea, and lots of sinus drainage problems. She went to an ENT and they said she would need tubes in her ears and her tonsils and adenoids removed. The doctor said her tonsils were ginormous! I always feel bad because Elizabeth seems to get everything and she's already been in the hospital a couple of times, and she is only two! On Tuesday she had her surgery, and she did great!
